Hello! My name is Bella and I am a recent graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a minor in Cybersecurity. I am currently working as a software developer at Bank of New York. I have a passion for software development, cybersecutiy, gender studies, and travel. I am always excited to learn, not only, about the expanding field of technology but also how to better work and communicate with those around me.

  • Software Developer Intern, Bank of New York

    • Created a proof of concept for using Apache Spark with Kudu and Kubernetes

    • Wrote a data reconciliation program to reconcile data between two datacenters using Spark, Java, Spring, and SQL

    • Participated in all agile ceremonies

  • Computer Science Intern, Vatican Museums

    • Assist the Vatican in creating and managing a database for the Annuario Pontificio

    • Helped identify bugs using the front-end database web interface.

  • Information Technology Help Desk Consultant, Villanova University

    • Assist Villanova students and faculty with computer problems and provide diagnoses and resolutions.

  • Software Development Research Assistant, Villanova University

    • Presented in Villanova University's 2021 Research Symposium

    • Researched the current software testing practices used in VR projects, specially in relation to unit testing by conducting a manual analysis of unity projects to identify recurring patterns and areas of limitations
